About Us

       Josh is an NE Ohio native, a career firefighter/medic, husband, father and proud homeowner. He’s also a hobbyist and enjoys fitness, fish & reptiles and tackling home improvement projects- big and small. Josh added to his repertoire by becoming an Ohio-Licensed Professional Home Inspector (InterNACHI certified) and proud Owner/Operator of Rescue 4 Home Inspection with his wife, Megan. 

       In 2017, he and his wife purchased their first and forever home. It wasn’t long after, they quickly realized the “not so fun” burdens that come with such responsibility. Some problems they knew of, per their home inspector. But other issues, some very expensive issues, were overlooked by the same inspector. The excitement of becoming a first time homeowner was overshadowed by this newly founded stress. As a man of many trades, Josh started tackling these issues one by one. Some were quick fixes while others required dozens of hours of research and education to understand how to PROPERLY fix them. Emphasis on “properly”. 

       5 years later, home improvement isn’t just something that “has to be done”, it’s something he genuinely enjoys (most of the time…) What began as a burden has turned into a passion. Who would have thought! A true understanding of home structure paired with spot-on report writing ("thank you" medic reports) became the perfect mixture of his talents. This is why Josh became a home inspector and truly enjoys what he does. He believes there is only one way to do anything, and that’s the right way. No matter how much time it may take or how much work it requires, it always pays off to work with integrity.
